Always at the forefront of developments with our production facilities, we use the Italian Metodo Ganimede fermenters for creating our distinctive premium red wines.

The system carries out the maceration and fermentation processes in the most natural way and Wineworx has two of only three systems in WA.

Ganimede fermenters have a worldwide reputation for producing more naturally aromatic wine - softer, with a richer, more intense colour.

The Ganimede system requires no mechanical pumps and labour intensive "plunging down of the cap" (which is the case with traditional open fermentation employed at all other 'contract' wineries in WA). It naturally generates intermittent circulation, by the release of gas through fermentation. Skins are always in contact and seeds naturally fall to the bottom and are discharged.

Although costing more than double that of normal fermenters, they do not wear out, and save on power and labour costs and we believe, naturally produce a superior quality wine.

In Europe, the "Metodo Ganimede" system is so highly acclaimed in wine circles, that many wineries run an authorised label on their bottles
