The Vintage Wineworx is located between the Stirling and Porongurup Ranges, 18 kilometres from Mt Barker. It has been designed to efficiently provide a premium winemaking, packaging and logistics service to clients throughout the southwest. From the winery's heartland in the Great Southern (embracing the sub-regions of Albany, Mt Barker, Denmark and Frankland River), Manjimup, Pemberton, Geographe, The Ferguson Valley, Margaret River and inland to Lake Grace.
Experience with the diverse regions of the southwest is long-standing with wines made by Wineworx from the fruit of each region winning trophies and show medals over each of the last five years.
In two recent shows (2007 Perth Royal Show and 2006 Qantas Mt Barker Show), every Wineworx client exhibiting achieved at least one medal.
At the Perth Royal Show, the winery won the Trophy for best Cabernet Sauvignon with 2005 Briarose and at the Qantas Show, the winery won the Trophy for best Chardonnay with the 2005 Hidden River. And recently, the 2004 Xabregas Cabernet Merlot was awarded a Gold Medal, Best of Class, Single Estate Vintage Wines, at the prestigious 2007 International Wine & Spirit Competition (London).
Essential to success is the fact that each vineyard site and every wine made is treated as an individual. With our winemaker visiting client vineyards throughout the growing season and aiding in harvest decisions. Expert viticultural advice is available from Phil Gumbrell, an experienced consultant viticulturalist who travels extensively through Geographe and Margaret River.
The Vintage Wineworx is situated in a prime location in the Porongurup foothills, east of Mount Barker in the Great Southern region, providing the capacity to easily transport and work with grapes from Western Australia's premium wine regions and sub-regions.
The winery is easily and conveniently accessible via a network of major highways and we have vast experience in harvesting and transporting fruit in pristine condition from all Southwest regions, which a trophy cabinet full of awards now attests to.
Once the fruit has arrived at the winery, two presses are available and well organised planning and logistics mean that processing commences promptly.
Across the breadth of the region climate change may already be causing early harvests, and the Vintage Wineworx is well prepared for these early, short vintages with a generous red Fermenter capacity, ample equipment and a full complement of qualified staff.

Accessing the technology, experience and resources of the Vintage Wineworx costs no more, no matter the vineyard's location in the southwest region.
Our competitive, premium winemaking package covers "the Worx" and makes the distance a non-issue. Now the winery has its own sophisticated bottling and storage facilities, this means that even less handling and traveling is required.
Wineworx is a convenient drive from most of the regions vineyards and from next vintage, the complete process - from crushing of fruit to ferment and winemaking to bottling, storage and distribution logistics - will be able to be securely monitored at anytime by clients 'on-line' or with our Marketing and Logistics co-ordinator, Colleen Ryan.
